Renowned Cuban actress. Graduate of the Escuela Nacional de Instructores de Arte. With extensive and varied participation in film and television, with ventures into theater both in Cuba and in Mexico. Recipient of awards and recognition for her acting work such as the Pitirre Award for Best Actress at the 14th Cinemafest San Juan de Puerto Rico, 2002 for "Nada", the directorial debut of Juan Carlos Cremata Malberti.
Born in Ciudad de La Habana. Graduate of Secondary and Higher Education at the Escuela Nacional de Instructores de Arte, in La Habana in 1985.
"Una novia para David", a film directed by Orlando Rojas in 1985, marked the beginning of her acting career and her film debut.
She has played leading roles in important Cuban cinema films; as well as in novels and television serials, in theatrical works and one-woman shows.
