Rubén Cuesta Palomo

Rubén Cuesta Palomo, known artistically as Candyman (also styled Kandyman), is a Cuban singer from Santiago de Cuba considered one of the pioneers of cubatón for blending Jamaican dancehall and ragga sounds into his music starting in the early 2000s. His best-known songs include "La Cosita," "Bayu Baye" and "Ponte a la moda," which brought him recognition across Cuba, Latin America and Europe, including a collaboration with Sweden's Topaz Records.
