Rosa María Campo Pérez

Cuban composer and performer, one of the main exponents of Cuban children's music in recent times. Artistic name "Tía Rosa". Composer of children's songs and master of the stage. Cuban performer.

In 1989 she graduated as an Art Instructor. She specialized in vocal work with children and adolescents, who are the pillars of her production as a creator.

She is the author of the book Carrusel musical (sing, paint, play, laugh), published by Ediciones Mecenas in 2018.

She has obtained numerous awards and recognitions in radio festivals with her scripts and children's programs, 7 consecutive awards at the Cantándole al Sol festival.

In the year 2000 she obtained the Cubadisco award for best children's music album in Cuba with the CD "Amanecer Feliz" published by BIS Music. Also in 2001 she obtains two awards that mark and identify her social, cultural and artistic work, El Reparador de Sueños and Los Zapaticos de Rosa, the highest distinctions of Cuban pioneers.

She has created several children's projects such as: "Los Chicuelos del Mar", "Trocacuentos", "El rincón de la tía Rosa", the radio program "Amanecer Feliz" and the television program "Parampampín" among others.

The educational content of her songs and the strong influence they have on children make her an unforgettable educator.

Recognition
With her scripts and children's programs she has obtained awards and recognitions in radio festivals and seven consecutive awards at the "Cantándole al Sol" festival.

CUBADISCO Award 2000 for best children's music album in Cuba with the CD Amanecer Feliz, published by BIS Music. Two of her awards identify her social, cultural and artistic work, El Reparador de Sueños and Los Zapaticos de Rosa, the highest distinctions of Cuban pioneers.

In 2022 she celebrated her 40 years of artistic life with the presentation of a new children's music CD "Tía Rosa de las Canciones".
