Otto Padrón

From a very young age he left his native country to settle in Miami, Florida.

1984 to 1988: He served in the United States Army and is currently a reserve captain.

1990: He participated in the Iraq War when he was not yet 25 years old.

1992: Padrón began his career in television as an executive producer at the Telemundo network. He supervised variety shows, dramatic series, and the Pan American Games.

1994: Telemundo appointed him Director of Programming and Production Administration in charge of developing network programs and program acquisition units.

1995: That year he was hired by Univision as Director of Programming and Special Projects, with the responsibility of overseeing important national programs in pre-development. 1996: He was appointed Director of Program Promotions at Univision.

1998: He was promoted to Director of Programming for the same television network.

2003: He was elevated to Vice President of Programming and Promotion.

2009: Otto Padrón left his position as Vice President at Univision to return to the military; he is currently a reserve captain.

2010: On November 13 he became engaged to Angélica Vale after 1 year 9 months of dating. For the businessman, this would be his second marriage as he had been married to Olga Padrón with whom he had 2 daughters.
