Nancy is the architect who carried out the reconstruction of the Teatro Martí. Writer, architect, professor and designer of costumes, scenography and cinematographic art direction.
She is also the author of the books "Teatro Martí, prodigious permanence" and "The silence of wonders".
A native of Guanajay, now Artemisa province, perhaps the architect Nancy González Arzola never imagined that, almost four decades after having begun her research on the Teatro Martí, a book would see the light dedicated to presenting the results of her efforts. Because that is, in reality, the purpose of these pages: to offer an approach to the genesis, development and splendor of one of the most representative stages in the history of island theater.
Nancy became involved, over time, in various artistic and literary manifestations. She is the author of the text and illustrations of the storybook Las carolinas blancas (2000), has taught and has worked as a designer of costumes, scenography and cinematographic art direction.
