Nara Mansur Cao

===BODY===
Poet, author of materials for the stage, theater critic, editor, and cultural promoter.

Degree in Theater Studies, School of Performing Arts, Instituto Superior de Arte de La Habana. Member of the Unión Nacional de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba (UNEAC).

She was editor (1997 / 2001) and editor-in-chief (2001 / 2007) of the "Conjunto" magazine of Latin American theater, published by the Casa de las Américas, an institution where she worked as part of the Theater Department team (1994 / 2007).

She taught the Dramaturgy Seminar at the School of Performing Arts of the Instituto Superior de Arte between 2002 and 2007.

Since mid-2007 she has been a collaborator of the Theater Studio "El Cuervo," directed by Pompeyo Audivert in Buenos Aires; and she was part of the creative team (actress, research, dramaturgy) of the theatrical installation Museo Ezeiza in 2009. She is currently preparing, along with Audivert, a volume on his artistic techniques and principles.

She has published:
•Mañana es cuando estoy despierta, poetry, Editorial Letras Cubanas, 2000.
•Un ejercicio al aire libre, poetry, Editorial Letras Cubanas, 2004.
•Desdramatizándome. Cuatro poemas para el teatro, dramaturgy, Ediciones Alarcos, 2009.

Some of her theatrical texts have been staged, such as Ignacio & María by Teatro D'Dos and La Guerrilla del Golem, as well as Charlotte Corday. Poema dramático by the Santiago de Cuba group.

Scenic materials of her authorship have also been performed in dramatized readings at theater festivals in the United States, Colombia, and Puerto Rico.

Furthermore, her works and articles of theater criticism have been published in various specialized magazines in Latin America and Europe.

Some recognitions:
•Mention in the 13 de Marzo Poetry Prize, Universidad de La Habana, 1993.
•Mentions in the David Poetry Prize (UNEAC), 1997 and 1998.
•Finalist in the Virgilio Piñera Dramaturgy Prize 2001, for Ignacio & María.
•Finalist in the Innovative Dramaturgy Contest "Casa de América-Festival de Escena Contemporánea," 2002, for Charlotte Corday. Poema dramático.
•Honorable mention in the First Dramaturgy Contest, 2005, organized by the Embassy of Spain in Cuba and the Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional (AECI), for Venus y el albañil.
•Nicolás Guillén National Poetry Prize 2011, for her notebook Manualidades.
She has resided between La Habana and Buenos Aires since 2007.
