María Victoria Gil, Cuban nationalized Spanish, 57 years old. Lawyer and presenter of Cuban television for 30 years.

In Cuba she organized and presented various events including children's parties and performed a wide repertoire of songs and stories for children.

Vicky was part of the founding team of the program De la Gran Escena of Cuban television alongside the director of "De La Gran Escena," José Ramón Artigas, and its writer, Orlando Quiroga.

María Victoria after 29 years on the program De la Gran Escena said goodbye to that television space by expressing "The program is like a son to me."

Vicky shared the hosting of De la Gran Escena for almost three decades with other colleagues such as Omar Moinelo, Edmundo García, Abel Álvarez, Rody Reyes and finally with Niro de la Rúa. Likewise, she shared duties with the program's creative team, made up of the prestigious Orlando Quiroga, screenwriter; director José Ramón Artigas and advisor Tomás Alfonso, among others. De la Gran Escena went on the air on November 8, 1985.

María Victoria Gil is the sister of the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Cuba, Alejandro Gil.

Vicki established herself permanently in Tenerife, Spain, along with her son Daniel Alejandro Trujillo Gil and manages the Laguna Salud Medical Center where her protégé works as manager, despite having studied Law at the University of Havana, graduating in 2014 and immediately taking advantage of dual citizenship to settle in the homeland of his ancestors.

María Victoria Gil has navigated with luck and although she was unable to continue her career as a presenter and singer, she has been able to open at least a couple of businesses, both in Tenerife and in Havana, where she appears as owner of the well-known nightclub Habaneciendo, located on Neptune Street, which she says she finances with money provided by both the work at the Medical Center in Tenerife and a small massage and natural medicine establishment that she opened in 2017, after graduating as a therapist from the Instituto Superior de Estudios de la Salud, of Spain.
