Former Cuban footballer, World Record holder in ball control.
Student of Douglas Hernández and teammate of Erick Hernández with whom he trains.
He began practicing ball touches at 12 years of age, when his father advised him to visit Douglas Hernández, who accepted him upon seeing his abilities.
In December 2010 he set a world record in ball control by striking the ball 154 times in 30 seconds while sitting on a table using only his right foot.
"I am very happy with the result, this is my second record and I truly feel great satisfaction for achieving the objective" expressed Luis Carlos García, after his world record in 2010.
Graduated as a mid-level technician in Physical Education. He later studied a degree in Physical Culture.
February 11, 2017, Palco hotel in Havana: He achieved his registration in the famous Guinness Book of Records which recognized his record in ball control, established at 306 touches with the right foot during one minute from a sitting position.
In March 2019, the young man from Havana who in 2017 was credited as a Guinness record holder for the most ball touches in one minute, spent 4 hours and 18 minutes striking the ball.
