Karina Valero Tieles

This Cuban woman is 1.73 meters tall, is a model, DJ, clarinetist and, with her expressive and refined projection, won over the producers of the music video "Súbeme la radio" by Enrique Iglesias with which she rose to popularity a few years ago.

When she was in her final year at the ENA (Escuela Nacional de Artes de La Habana), she met Miguel Leyva, a friend with whom she began taking photos for her fashion blog and after seeing the results of the photos and realizing she was having fun doing it, she began to investigate more deeply about how this fashion world worked and dedicated herself to it.

Music has been part of her life since childhood and it is what she has done ever since and it has to always be present in her life, in some way. Fashion came later, in a positive way. It is something she did as a hobby but that later became work and has contributed greatly to her life, professionally, and also on a personal level.

Karina is considered an "influencer" and is very active on social media; but the truth is that she does it because she likes it and it amuses her, and because it is a great professional tool.

As a person, Karina describes herself as a cheerful, positive person and sometimes scattered-brained.

At the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017, the young Cuban Karina Valero Tieles was a young musician with interests in modeling like many other Cuban women. One of many who usually finds out that there is a casting for music videos or films and goes, hoping to be selected among one hundred, two hundred, fifty, twenty… and Alejandro Pérez, the director of the music video that brought Spanish singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias to Cuba, selected her to be the protagonist of the video. "The girl with Enrique's tender kiss."

Karina Valero, a young Cuban woman, with dark complexion and a candid laugh who, after the success of Súbeme la Radio, was followed one after another by modeling contracts. Magazines, Music videos… Karina Valero Tieles has worked tirelessly.

The young woman has just earned a spot to compete in the Miss Universe Spain 2019 pageant, with which she aspires to crown her success in the mother country, the country in which she has resided since fame came knocking at her door in Centro Habana, called out to her and took her away to Europe.
