Independent visual artist since 1985. In addition to working as a sculptor, he has knowledge in the fields of ceramics, craftsmanship, and painting.
He is a Member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC), was a founder of the Cuban Association of Artisans and Artists, belongs to the International Association of Visual Artists of UNESCO, was a founder of the sculptural group of October 10th, and since 2001 has been part of the Association of Visual Artists of Barcelona (ACEAS).
