Joan Manuel Riera Pérez

Joan Manuel Riera Pérez is a Cuban ballet dancer trained at the Escuela Nacional de Ballet "Fernando Alonso" (ENBFA) in Havana, one of the leading institutions of the Cuban School of Ballet. In August 2026, he won three gold medals — in the male variation, pas de deux and contemporary dance categories — at the International Ballet Competition of South Africa in Cape Town, dancing alongside classmate Greisell Lastre Casuso under teacher Idania La Villa.
