Andrés Williams Dihigo

He completed his ballet studies at the National School of Art of Cubanacan, Havana.

His professional debut with the National Ballet of Cuba in 1970, being principal dancer since 1986. He has performed in numerous countries in: Europe, America, Asia and Africa. And as a guest artist on Dresden television, and at the international Festivals of Santander, Spain. and Verona, Italy. and the Ballet of Zimbabwe.

Winner of important awards: Bronze Medal and Special Prize as a partner, Moscow, 1973. Prize for Artistic Mastery and Special Prize from Bulgarian composers, Varna, Bulgaria, 1976. Medal and Diploma of Laureate: Tokyo, Japan, 1976. Medal of the Bar Association. Puerto Rico, 1978.

Currently he directs his dance group, as a teacher, choreographer and director in the city of Granada, Spain.
