Isis Flores

Isis is a renowned Cuban singer who has successfully established her style and songs with the public. Since she was very young, she has shown interest in music and dance.

Flores is one of the main exponents of female pop-rock in Cuba.

At age 7, she entered the Ernesto Lecuona Conservatory, specializing in piano and choral singing. After completing 7 years of studies, she pursued secondary level education in Havana, graduating as a Choral Direction teacher.

Her passion for dance led her to take courses in dance specialization such as dance techniques, Canary dances, and folklore.

During her two years of social service, she created several music and dance groups with children of different ages with whom she participated in various festivals.

Alongside this, she did modeling work with prestigious Russian designer Viera Reinoso.

In her early career, she was a singer for the group Son Damas, then joined the group Novel Voz, and later became part of singer-songwriter David Blanco's band.

Currently, she is pursuing a solo career, performing on international stages.

In 2003, she made her debut with the video Llegarás, a song of her own creation. With it, she received three nominations for the Lucas Awards and reached the top positions on the national radio Hit Parade. She has been repeatedly invited to participate in the awards show with her own choreographic design.

In 2005, she presented another hit video: Vino Amargo, winning the award for Best Pop Video of the Year, which provided her with greater opportunities in her solo career, making it possible to prepare her first recording.

Recognition
In the most recent Lucas Awards ceremony (2011), she received 5 nominations for her video clip Voy a darte, winning awards for Best Female Figure, Best Performance, and Best Pop Video.

In 2005, she presented another video clip: Vino Amargo, receiving the award for Best Pop Video of the Year, which provided her with greater opportunities in her solo career, even making it possible to prepare her first recording.

Some of the recognition she has received as a singer have been nominations for her video clip Voy a darte at the 2011 Lucas Awards, obtaining the awards for Best Female Figure, Best Performance, and Best Pop Video.
