Ibrahim Irenio Hidalgo Paz

Doctor of Historical Sciences and Researcher. His work has been published in specialized books and journals. He developed intensive teaching work and participated in countless workshops and scientific events.

Researcher, member of the UNHC of the Cuban Section of the Association of Latin American and Caribbean Historians. Member of the History Section of the UNEAC. Doctor of Historical Sciences. His results stand out especially in the field of research, particularly regarding the life and work of José Martí, the work of the Cuban Revolutionary Party, and Cuban History and Culture in general. His work has been published in specialized books and journals. He has developed intensive teaching work and has participated in countless workshops and scientific events.

He taught regularly as a non-graduate instructor of Marxist-Leninist Philosophy at the University of Oriente, Santiago de Cuba, from 1966 to 1970, and as a professor of Modern and Contemporary History at the School for the Training of Primary Teachers, Santiago de Cuba, in the period 1972 - 1973.

Subsequently, he served as principal professor, teaching several undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Center for Martí Studies, from 1989 to 2005, and participated as professor and lecturer in multiple courses and lecture series at this institution and other teaching centers in the capital and several provinces, through the present. Abroad, he carried out similar tasks in Argentina and the Canary Islands (Spain).
