She was one of the best in Cuba for her knowledge, professionalism and mastery of the interpretation of varied genres.

She made her professional debut at RHC Cadena Azul, in 1948. She has made children's music, and also music for theater and ballet.

From 1955 to 1957 she resided in Europe (Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland and Germany). In 1965 she was part of the Music Hall de Cuba, which traveled to France, Poland, East Germany and the Soviet Union.

She was part of the so-called Music Hall de Cuba that presented itself with success in France, Poland, Germany and the then Soviet Union.

In the 1950s she worked as a pianist for classes and rehearsals of Alberto Alonso's dance ensemble, composed the ballet Humorada, based on the Sociedad Pro-Arte Musical, and also accompanied the reciter Gerardo Abreu Fontán in a radio program of Afro-Cuban poetry.

She was a pianist with the Típica Rialto orchestra, Artemisa Jazz-band and Riverside. In 1955 Enriqueta Almanza was selected by Camino, who hired her for one year. She played piano and directed the jazz-band orchestra.

An unusual case, that woman who was around 23 years old, holding her own against the sonorities of the feeling colossus and contributed the strength and sensitivity that allowed the singers to give themselves freely to those classic singable pieces and mark, with firm step, the difference.

Despite not having studied conducting, she had experience from what she learned in the practice of a daily television program and from radio exposure, as an accompanist. When Jaime Camino's company disbanded, its members received the proposal to become the Orquesta Chachachá, which presented itself for three months in Rome, with Xavier Cugat as director.
