Diego García Rodríguez

Diego García Rodríguez is a Cuban student at the Eusebio Olivera Preuniversity Vocational Institute of Exact Sciences (IPVCE) in Sancti Spíritus. In July 2026 he won a bronze medal at the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), held in Shanghai, China, becoming the first student from his province ever to compete in the event. He had previously won a gold medal at the Central American Mathematical Olympiad. He trained under coaches Carlos Sebrango and Catalina Rodríguez Felipe.
