Bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of Havana. Graduate of the EICTV in the Documentary specialization.
She participated in several editions of the Festival with the documentaries He is you (12th.) and ABC (13th.).
She later worked on the development of her debut feature Nido, winner of the Grand Prize at the 7th edition of Nuevas Miradas (2013), a meeting for film projects in development. She presented the documentary Milagrosa at this young cinema festival.
She directed other documentaries such as Miracle Worker (2014), ABC's (2014), Just Like Cats (2013) and He is you (2012).
Diana left a filmography that pointed to an interest in the reality of rural areas and, particularly, of women, being very close to her roots and her family. She was, without a doubt, a strong voice for the future of Cuban and Latin American cinema.
