El Rojo

El Rojo is a young Cuban singer-songwriter who has distinguished himself through his music committed to social issues and Cuban reality. Recently based in the United States, he is part of a new generation of Cuban artists who use their music as a vehicle to express the experiences of exile, family separation, and the longing for freedom. He has collaborated with other Cuban artists such as Néstor Meness and has gained recognition on social media for songs that address the situation in Cuba. Among his notable works are "Me duele Cuba" and "Libre" (2026), the latter in collaboration with Néstor Meness and Venezuelan influencer Marko. His musical style combines contemporary urban elements with emotional lyrics that resonate deeply in Cuban and Venezuelan exile communities. Veteran artist Willy Chirino has recognized his talent and message, inviting him to collaborate. El Rojo represents a young and authentic voice that connects with thousands of Cubans who share similar experiences of forced migration and hope for change in Cuba.
