Baby Lores

Yoandys Lores González, known professionally as Baby Lores, was born on December 27, 1983, in Cienfuegos, Cuba. A singer, songwriter, arranger and multi-instrumentalist, he became one of the best-known voices of Cuban reggaeton from the 2000s onward.

After training with the children’s group Ismaelillo and working in salsa-fusion projects, he built a solo career and collaborations with El Chacal and Insurrecto. Hits such as “Creo,” “Ya no hacemos el amor” and “Mi isla bonita” made him a farándula favorite; in recent years he has pursued his career from Miami.
