Ariadna Romero

Ariadna Romero is a Cuban model and actress born in Fomentos and naturalized Italian.

Romero began her artistic career as a model in 2009 when a talent scout, during her first photo shoot in Cuba with an Italian company, asked her to move to Italy where she has lived, since then, between Milan and Turin.

She made her acting debut in 2011 becoming the female lead in Leonardo Pieraccioni's feature film Finally Happiness.

Romero, in the winter of 2012 participated (with Bobo Vieri, Alex Belli, Andrés Gil, Anna Tatangelo, Ria Antoniou and other contestants) in the eighth season of the Italian talent show Ballando con le Stelle presented on Rai 1 by Milly Carlucci with Paolo Belli and his Big Band. In the fall of 2013 she participated, with Francesca Fioretti, in the second season of Pechino Express, the Italian version (broadcast on Rai and hosted by Costantino della Gherardesca) of the international reality show Pekín expreso, and in that reality game the Romero-Fioretti couple received good press reviews and second place in the final episode.

In the fall of 2014 she participated as a chorus girl, with other celebrities, in La papera non fa l'eco, a variety show presented on Rai 2 by Max Giusti. In 2015 she participated, with Fabio Tavelli, in Studio EuroBasket, a program broadcast by Sky Sport Italia, Rupert Murdoch's Sky Italia channel.

Throughout her career over the years, Romero participated as a model in many advertising campaigns. She won the Italian award Premio Eilat Diamonds (Eilat Diamonds Prize) in July 2016 «per i suoi successi professionali e per il perfetto connubio tra bellezza e talento» («for her professional achievements and the perfect combination of beauty and talent»). In the same year (2016) she was the female lead in Roberto Capucci's feature film Ovunque tu sarai.

In 2017 she obtained the role of Nora Segni in The Broken Key, an independent Italian film in English written and directed by Louis Nero. Over the years Romero has become an influencer.

Romero in the winter of 2019 participated (with Youma Diakite, Jeremías Rodríguez, Riccardo Fogli, Abdelkader Ghezzal, Marco Maddaloni and other contestants) in the season of L'isola dei famosi, the Italian version (hosted by Alessia Marcuzzi and Alvin on Canale 5) of Celebrity Survivor, an international reality show. Romero participated, as a showgirl, in the first season (June 2019) and in the second season (January 2020) of All Together Now, a reality music competition broadcast by Canale 5 and hosted by Michelle Hunziker as presenter with J-Ax as captain. Romero in 2019 also was a guest star on two variety and comedy shows on Rai 2, precisely on Made in Sud, hosted by Fatima Trotta, and on Stasera tutto è possibile, hosted by Stefano De Martino.

Personal Life
Romero married Italian basketball player Lorenzo Gergati in a civil ceremony in Varese on December 20, 2012; the Catholic ceremony was held on July 7, 2013 in Cuba. This marriage ended in 2015, when Romero met the model (and velino of Striscia la notizia) Pierpaolo Petrelli. They have a son together named Leonardo Petrelli who was born in Rome on July 18, 2017, but the relationship of Leonardo's parents ended in April 2018.
