Venezuelan singer and actress, born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. In 1963 her parents settled in Cuba, where she pursued university studies that she did not complete.
She devoted herself to singing and acting, receiving classes for five years at the ICRT School for Actor Development.
In 1970 she made her professional debut as a singer, actress and entertainer on radio and television.
She performed at national events promoted by cultural institutions where she shared the stage with Cuban artists such as Rosita Fornés and Esther Borja, Mexican composer Vicente Garrido and Venezuelan singer Gisela Guedes.
