Anette Delgado Gómez

===BODY===
She began her studies at the Provincial Ballet School «Alejo Carpentier», in Ciudad de La Habana, and completed them at the National Ballet School in 1996. Among her teachers are Ramona de Sáa and Martha Iris Fernández. During her time as a student, she earned important awards in competitive events, including Gold Medal and Best Couple Award at the First International Ballet Academies Competition, Silver Medal at the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba Competition (1995), Gold Medal and Special Award for Best Technique and Artistic Work of Style at the Second International Ballet Academies Competition, and the Silver Medal and Best Couple Award at the XVII International Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria. As a student, she participated in cultural exchanges in several cities in Mexico and Italy.

Since her graduation, she became part of the cast of the Ballet Nacional de Cuba, under the technical and artistic direction of Alicia Alonso, a company with which she has performed in numerous countries in America, Europe, and Asia. Between 1999 and 2001, she was part of the Joven Ballet de Francia. She interprets leading roles in works of the great romantic-classical tradition and in contemporary creations by Cuban and foreign choreographers.

Due to her outstanding artistic performance, she was promoted to the rank of Prima Ballerina in April 2005, a position she continues to hold to this day.
