Singer (soprano), pedagogue and composer. She founded her own academy and taught at various musical institutions in the country.
She was born in La Habana. She began her piano studies under the guidance of her mother, pianist María Josefa Plasencia, and continued them at the conservatories "Peyrellade" and "González Molina" until 1924.
She also received voice lessons at the Academy of Tina Farelli and Arturo Bovi.
She was a member, since its founding in 1931, of the Sociedad Coral de La Habana. She was an auxiliary inspector of music for the Ministry of Education and President of the Advisory Commission on Lyrical Affairs of the Ateneo de La Habana.
She wrote specialized articles for the Revista de Occidente in 1948 and for the Sumario La voz femenina in 1950.

During the nineteen-fifties she began composing works for voice and piano, among which the following stand out:

Public Performances
She made her first public performance in 1926 and from that date onward began an extensive professional and teaching career. She performed in the main theater halls in the country and in cities of the State of La Florida.
