Lilo

Born in Pinar del Río. Baritone who also used the artistic name "Lilo del Campo."

He studied vocal technique with Maria Pissarewskaya in 1960 and made his debut that same year at the Sociedad de Maestros in his native city, performing El Prior de La dolorosa.

Founding member of the Lírico Theater "Ernesto Lecuona" in Pinar del Río, where he performed in, among others, the productions of Luisa Fernanda (Vidal, 1962) and Bastián y Bastiana (Colás, 1964).

He was general director of the group between 1967 and 1980. As a guest artist, he performed with the Lírico Theater of Holguín (Luisa Fernanda, 1964) and acted in the co-production of Cecilia Valdés (José Dolores Pimienta, 1976) between the Pinar del Río Lírico and the National Lírico.

In the 1980s he emigrated to the United States, where he continued until his death in 2011 developing his artistic career.
