Cuban acrobats perform incredible number hanging by their hair on Got Talent España

February 14, 2021

Two young Cuban acrobats surprised the jury in the auditions of the new edition of Got Talent España, with an incredible, innovative and risky act.

"We are going to do an act that we hope will make your hair stand on end," said one of the artists before literally hanging from her hair to make her presentation.

Just by tying their buns to cables hanging on the stage, they already had Edurne, the veteran judge of the television competition, surprised, who couldn't contain her amazement and let out a "Hoooow?".

Held up only by their hair, the young Cuban women began to dance in the air like feathers, and then performed another series of risky stunts that generated a mixture of amazement and tension in the jury and the audience.

Anicel and Rosmery, Cubans residing in Tenerife, even managed to surprise Risto Mejide, the most difficult and demanding judge of Got Talent España, known for his harsh judgments and for saying 'no' to most of the contestants.

"I appreciate the originality, this has never been seen in Got Talent España, thank you," expressed the television presenter, although he did not give them his 'yes' to move to the next phase of the competition.

Nevertheless, the Cuban acrobats got the 'yes' from the other two judges, which allows them to continue in the competition, and Risto's compliment on originality is also another victory for the girls, not only because of his well-known attitude, but because it is the sixth edition of Got Talent España, which makes it increasingly difficult to present new things.

The 2019 edition of Got Talent España was characterized by a strong presence of Cuban contestants. Acrobats, dancers, singers, trapeze artists, skaters, even children and a soprano about to give birth, took to the stage of the show to display their talent.

The couple of dancers formed by Danger and Yunaisy, and the acrobats José Ángel and Xenia, reached the semifinal of the competition with spectacular presentations.

Cuban singer Mariela Flores, also a contestant in the fourth edition of the competition, obtained the support of the Instituto Latino de la Música to launch her first album, after the success she had during her time on the program.
