The new edition of MasterChef Celebrity 6 presents Yotuel Romero, who is one of the most unexpected signings of this edition, since it is the first time he has appeared in a television reality show, despite having been linked to the Spanish artistic scene for more than two decades.

Born in Havana in 1976, Yotuel has confessed in various interviews that he had a very difficult childhood. Thus, he decided to emigrate to France at only 20 years old and fight for his dreams.

In 1999 came his opportunity, with the formation of the group Orishas, which meant a true revolution in the world of Latin hip-hop. Four members who achieved what many others could not even dream of: having the support of the Cuban government towards hip-hop music, which allowed them to make the leap internationally and be recognized with a Latin Grammy Award for their work, a sales success at a global level.

In 2003, Yotuel landed in Spain working on various projects as a model and actor in television series. This is how Yotuel landed a supporting role in the successful Un Paso Adelante, where he played Pável, a charismatic dancer of whom he can only have the best memories.

It is no wonder, since the series not only served to make him known and achieve success at a European level, but also changed his personal life forever, as during the filming of Un paso adelante he met his current partner, actress and singer Beatriz Luengo, whom he married in 2008 and with whom he has two children, Angelo, six years old; and Zoë, almost six months old.

Now, Yotuel returns to television as a cook, where he promises to leave memorable moments. For now, he has formed a curious partnership with singer David Bustamante, with whom he has shown great sense of humor whatever the situation.

Yotuel managed to overcome the first elimination of the program, which ended with the expulsion of singer Tamara, but there is much to prove in the coming weeks. Being a man of so many talents, it is possible that the Cuban will consider redirecting his career toward the gastronomic world.
