The beginning of Yasiel Puig's first season in the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) is quite encouraging. On Tuesday's game in the Korean league, Puig put the cherry on top of the Kiwoom Heroes' 10-0 victory over the NC Dinos with a huge Grand Slam, his first ever in Korean baseball.

For Puig, this was his second home run in the fledgling season. In total, the right fielder (fourth batter for his team) went 4-for-3, with two singles and the long ball, which came in the bottom of the sixth inning to set the final score of the game.

So far, Puig has gotten a hit in all his games, with the exception of two. However, it is the first time he has hit more than one hit in a game. After nine at-bats, he has nine hits in 31 official opportunities at bat, including two doubles and two home runs. He has five RBIs and five runs scored, six walks, two stolen bases, two hit by pitches and seven strikeouts. His averages are at .290/.436/.548.
