Cuban singers Willy Chirino and Leoni Torres will join together during Chirino's concert in Miami next October 30th. The Pinar del Río native announced this on his social media this week.

"See you on Saturday, October 30th at EL FLAMINGO with my special guest LEONI TORRES," the Cuban salsa singer wrote on his Instagram. Torres immediately responded gratefully: "Thank you for the invitation. It is a great honor to sing by your side."

"The honor is mine. And I with you on Friday the 29th at LA ESCALA," Chirino later added. The performers will surely sing the song dedicated to fathers, "Para mi viejo," which they premiered last June 24th.

In mid-May, on the occasion of Torres' work visit to Miami, both singers announced their musical collaboration. According to the voice of the Cuban exile in the United States, "a few days ago @leoni_torres came by my house, someone I admire very much for his great talent as a singer and composer. After meeting him personally I admire him even more, stay tuned for surprises."

For his part, Leoni thanked Willy for the opportunity and added that it was "a pleasure to meet you and for you to receive us in your home. I have been a great admirer of your music my whole life and today another dream comes true. Thank you for thinking of me for this beautiful musical gift for our audience."

From Instagram, Torres, a resident on the island, expanded on the information and said that this was a dream come true and that it would be "a beautiful song from this legend. Thank you @willychirino for thinking of me." His partner, actress Yuliet Cruz immediately responded saying that this collaboration between the two was very exciting and great.

These days the Torres-Cruz family, including the little ones, is in Miami. In addition to the concerts planned in South Florida, Torres is looking forward to the Latin Grammy gala where his album "Alma Cubana" is nominated.
