Cuban actor William Levy returns to television to star in the remake of one of the most successful soap operas of the 90s, we are referring to Café con aroma de mujer, a Colombian production that has been taken to several countries and now returns with the Telemundo network.

Levy had left melodramas to focus on his career as a film actor.

Despite the actor having assured that he was not interested in starring in a melodrama again, he finally does so with this production that will be filmed in Colombia, so the Cuban will have to change his place of residence.

The 40-year-old Cuban will share the soap opera with actresses Carmen Villalobos, who will play the antagonist, and actress Laura Londoño, in the endearing role of la Gaviota. The new melodrama will not carry the original name and will only be called Café, and it is expected that by 2021 it will already be airing.

Although this project had been announced months ago, it was not possible to begin filming due to the situation experienced around the world because of Covid-19, but it is speculated that Levy recently traveled to Colombia to begin filming.

On his Instagram account he published a video from Bogotá, which made people think that he is already in the country to begin his return to soap operas.
