William Levy Will Receive Honorary Award at Film Festival in Spain

William Levy will be the international actor honored at the International Film Festival of Almería alongside Spanish actors José Mota, Álvaro Morte and Nathalie Poza.

Cuban actor William Levy will receive the honorary award from the 22nd International Film Festival of Almería (FICAL), Spain, which as a novelty will be presented this 2023 during the closing gala of the event that will take place next Saturday, November 25th.

"The honorary awards for television series for actors José Mota and William Levy will be presented at the Closing Gala, Saturday, November 25th at 8:30 p.m. (Spain time) in a night that is expected to be unforgettable," notes a statement published by La Voz de Almería.

Along with the Cuban actor, actresses Nathalie Poza will be honored with the Almería, land of cinema award, and the lead actor from the popular series La Casa de Papel Álvaro Morte, whose recognition will take place at the international gala Almería in short.

The festival will run from November 17th to 26th with over a hundred activities and the details were presented this Tuesday at Cosentino City Madrid, a corner of the province of Almería that is located in the capital of Spain.

William Levy became known in Spain with the Colombian production Café con Aroma de Mujer.

The Cuban actor played the main character of the wealthy landowner Sebastián Vallejo, who falls in love with a low-class coffee picker nicknamed Gaviota and who was played by Colombian actress Laura Londoño.

Since October, he can be seen on Telemundo screens in the telenovela "Vuelve a mí", where he is the lead alongside Mexican actress Samadhi Zendejas.
