Volleyball player Miguel Ángel López stands out in Brazil's Superliga

The Cuban Miguel Ángel López displays his talent as an auxiliary attacker and from the service area to stand out today in the Brazilian volleyball Superliga as one of the offensive references of the Sada Cruzeiro club.

At 23 years old, the Cuban opposite hitter woke up last Monday included in the 'top ten' of several departments, after adding 15 points in Sada's victory three sets to one over Ems Taubate Funvic, to consolidate itself at the top of the table with 10 successes and only one failure.

The international from the largest of the Antilles ranks eighth among the top scorers per set with 123 points in 32 partials, of which nine 'aces' to deserve seventh place in this aspect of the game.

López stands out in the ranking of the best volleyball players in average points per attack with 60 percent effectiveness, thanks to 100 units in 176 occasions; he also accumulates 14 blocks and 62 percent reception.

So far, the sky-blue stars where Cuban López plays have only lost five sets in 37 partials and have an advantage of one point over Ems Taubate Funvic (30 pts, 10-1) and four in relation to Volei Renata (27 pts, 9-2), who occupy the second and third places, respectively.

The next presentation of the Cuban auxiliary and Sada Cruzeiro will be tomorrow against Vedacit Vôlei Guarulhos, ninth in the standings with 10 units and a record of three wins and seven losses.

In his debut with Sada, López already won the title in the Campeonato Mineiro de Brasil last October, to add to his record the second trophy in a foreign league, after celebrating in 2019 the crown of the Copa Argentina as a member of UPCN San Juan.
