The former Cuban baseball player and ex-manager of Team Cuba, Víctor Mesa, returned to Miami and his daughter-in-law, Cuban-born singer, songwriter and model Náyer Regalado, announced it. Mesa was on vacation in Cuba recently.
The partner of Mesa's eldest son, Víctor Víctor, shared several videos on her social networks of the family celebration of Mother's Day in Miami, and the former director of the Industriales was seen sharing with the guests. Mesa was dancing and smoking a cigar while being filmed by Náyer.
In December 2021, it was reported that Mesa had been denied residency in the United States for declaring himself a "communist" in that country. But with his trip to the island and subsequent return to Miami, the former baseball player dismissed such a rumor from the regime.
Mesa spent almost a month on vacation on the island. He visited his daughter in Santa Clara and the relatives of his wife, Eneida, in Havana. The former Cuban baseball player and declared admirer of Fidel Castro, arrived on the island on April 8.
The native of Sagua la Grande returned to his home in the Cuban capital, accompanied by his wife, Eneida Ríos. Mesa was captured outside his two-story residence in the Plaza municipality, in which, according to Swing Completo, there was a "festive" and "secure" atmosphere.

In January of this year, his youngest son, Víctor Mesa Jr. also visited the island on a family trip. Precisely the "Jr." posted on May 8 an emotional clip on his social networks to welcome his maternal uncle back to the U.S.
