Telmary: In video, FlashMob "Habana que Danza"

Telmary and Habana Sana, and young rapper Frank Pedroso, director of the group Ron con Cola, premiered the FlashMob theme «Habana que Danza», a heartfelt tribute to the 500 years of the capital of all Cubans.

The audiovisual recreates the flashmob starring these artists along with about 150 dancers from the national schools of dance and music, developed on the afternoon of May 6, on the Havana Malecón, from Prado to Galeano. A stretch filled with works from the Detrás del Muro project of the XIII Havana Biennial and by the immense sea that surrounds it.

On the t-shirts of some of the students you can read phrases like "we understand solidarity, not plunder"; "we understand love, not hate", pertinent messages from Cuban youth to those who try to "steal our joy", tarnish and weigh down the achievements of this people or with the application of absurd laws.

The video was a production of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Relations, and Producciones Colibrí, the Cuban Institute of Music and Ministry of Culture, together with students from art schools and filmmakers Luis Toledo and Michel Pardo.
