Cuban volleyball players request reinstatement in the registry of Cuban athletes

The Cuban Volleyball Federation informs that former members of the national team Robertlandy Simón, Michael Sánchez and Raydel Hierrezuelo officially submitted their request to be reinstated in our athlete registry.

This step was completed during a meeting marked by respect, frank dialogue and the exchange of opinions regarding the current situation and prospects of our sport, in line with what was approved regarding contracting.

It was a meeting designed as a space to analyze the elements inherent to a process like this, not a massive one, which can only involve those who, like them, never played under the protection of another national federation.

Subsequent assessments will take into account what is established for these cases, the attitude of the applicants while they performed in other leagues with the status of independent players who did not leave the country through desertion, and their willingness to respond to the interests of the national team.
