Silvio Rodríguez Plays Valencia, Opening the Second Half of His Spain Tour

Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez performs Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Valencia's Roig Arena, the fourth stop on his Spain tour after Barcelona, Zaragoza and Bilbao. The Valencia date opens the second half of the run, which continues September 19 in A Coruña, September 24–25 in Seville, October 1 in Murcia and closes October 4 at Madrid's Movistar Arena.

Rodríguez is bringing both signature songs and newer material tied to his 2024 album Quería saber. His touring band includes Niurka González, Malva Rodríguez, Rachid López, Maykel Elizalde, Jorge Reyes, Emilio Vega, Jorge Aragón and Oliver Valdés, according to Radio Santa Cruz and Spanish cultural listings.

Some tickets remained available in Valencia earlier in the day, while several later dates were already sold out. Concerts are accompanied by the photo book Silvio Rodríguez, diario de un trovador by Daniel Mordzinski. After Bilbao, the Roig Arena is the next major gathering point for fans following the troubadour's return to Spanish stages after five years.

===BODY=== He was born in San Antonio de los Baños, province of La Habana, Cuba. His father was Dagoberto Rodríguez Ortega, from Vereda Nueva who as a child was an agricultural worker; during World War II he cut diamonds and later was an upholsterer and cabinetmaker. His mother is Argelia Domínguez León, daughter of a family of 11 siblings, some of them workers in the tobacco industry and almost all with musical vocation.
