On June 10th at the Zócalo in Mexico City, troubadour Silvio Rodríguez will perform for free, according to an announcement by the newspaper Excelsior.

José Merino, head of the Public Innovation Digital Agency, was responsible for revealing that the performer of Ojalá will present on that date at the capital's Zócalo and that Vivir Quintana will be in charge of opening the presentation at 7:00 PM local time that day, Prensa Latina reported.

The official used a verse from the song En estos días written by the Cuban to share the poster: "I don't know, think about it… In these days the sun does not rise, but your face does. And in the deaf silence of time your eyes scream," Merino wrote on his Twitter account.

The troubadour also has two dates at the National Auditorium on June 6th and 7th, one of which he has completely filled and has very little availability for the second.

Silvio Rodríguez has performed on several occasions at this venue and receives the admiration of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and his wife Beatriz Gutiérrez, who has a music video singing the song El Necio, which national television broadcast.
