The popular Cuban singer, trumpeter and composer Alexander Abreu, leader of the group Havana DꞌPrimera, announced the recording of his most recent album production Será que se acabó, a tribute to artists from the 80s and 90s of the past century.
According to a press release, the album will have about twenty songs that were hits in those last decades of the twentieth century, is in the process of editing, mixing and mastering, and with the desire for the public to enjoy it, the artist promised that it should be ready before the end of 2020.
I think it is the most beautiful way to rescue Cuban music and show it to young people, adding the touches of what is current and honoring the composers who had those ideas for songs that were the greatest, Abreu said.
Será que se acabó, a co-production between the studios of Producciones Abdala and the Catalan music company Páfata, will present songs such as Una aventura loca; Boliviana; El águila; Son para un chabacano; Lo que siento es un le lo ley; Llévala A Tu Vacilón; Nube pasajera; Pura imagen; El baile del buey cansao and Échale Limón.
The 20 tracks on the list will be completed with Mi Romántica; Tú no me Calculas; Fiebre de amor; Más rollo que película; Por romper el coco; No te creas; Mamaíta no quiere; Mi salsa tiene sandunga; El que esté, que tumbe and the song that gives its title to the album, Será que se acabó.
Likewise, the popular Cuban musician advanced that they will begin to prepare for next year the new album of the lineup, Pueblo Grifo, "a CD with all the works that will have beautiful songs".
On the other hand, Alexander Abreu and Havana DꞌPrimera are promoting these days, through social networks on the Internet, a virtual presentation for Tuesday, October 13 at four thirty in the afternoon Cuba time, which will be broadcast by Canal Clave of Cuban Television and by all the group's platforms.
The world needs joy, that's why in every lyric I write I try to convey love, the artist published on his Facebook profile along with the poster of the online event that will arrive under the title Al mal tiempo, buena música, as "a gift for my people, in Cuba and in the world".
