Re-elected Dr. Cs. Pedro Más Bermejo as Associate Professor at a prestigious university in the United States

Founded in 1912, the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine is the oldest school of public health in the United States. It is part of Tulane University, a highly respected and selective independent research university.

Dr. Cs. Pedro Más Bermejo, vice president of the Cuban Society of Hygiene and Epidemiology, was re-elected as Associate Professor in the Department of Tropical Medicine at the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine of Tulane University, in the United States, for the period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, in recognition of his contributions to the programs of that school.

This is the only combined U.S. school of public health and tropical medicine and the first to offer mid-career distance education programs.
