Enrique Núñez Rodríguez is Remembered in his Native City

Enrique Núñez Rodríguez, journalist, writer and humorist, Distinguished Son of the Land of Guajirigallo is always in the Heart of the children of his hometown, Quemado de Güines. 18 years after his departure from his town, his people, friends, and family from this beautiful homeland remembered him with multiple activities.

As part of the day, a tribute was held in front of his Bust and the Placement of a Floral Offering.

Then the Alejandro García Caturla Municipal Concert Band gifted works by quemadense Composers and the Hymn of the region, accompanying this moment full of Great Respect for the Distinguished Son.

A broadcast of the Voice of Guajirigallo was transmitted on the radio station. Those present enjoyed the screening of the documentary I Sold My Bicycle by quemadense Simón Escobar.

We attended a Literary Gathering at the Mirta Aguirre Library together with specialists from the General Francisco Peraza Delgado Museum and the Luis Jorge León House of Culture. The music was in charge of soloists Denis and Laudys and the members of the Letra Viva Workshop: Ofelia Morales and Lázaro Julio Socarras provided music and poetry.

It was the Tribute for a Prince of Adolescent Smile.
