On Friday, February 14, La Fabrica de Arte Cubano held a tribute to the beloved Cuban troubadour Santiago Feliú, on the sixth anniversary of his death, with a star bearing his name in the FAC Constellation, a space that premiered last October, very similar to Hollywood's Walk of Fame, which honors the stars of Cuban culture.

"Santi always with us… Six years after his death we dedicate a star to him in the FAC Constellation, among family, friends, and fans. What a beautiful afternoon! Oh, life!", reads the post that accompanies the publication on FAC's Facebook wall.

The Cuban artist, who died on February 12, 2014, at the age of 51, from a heart attack, was remembered this way by his colleagues, family, and friends.

The star was unveiled by Santiago's son, Adriano. Also present were his brother and fellow troubadour, Vicente Feliú, along with his wife Aurora, as well as his professional colleagues X Alfonso and his parents Carlos Alfonso and Ele Valdés; Frank Delgado, Rochy Ameneiro, and Aldo López Gavilán, among others.

Santiago at the time had an important presence in the Novísima Trova and also belonged to the Movimiento de La Nueva Trova, where his songs are especially remembered: "Para Bárbara", "Vida", and "Ay, la vida", among others.
