Que levante la mano la guitarra, book and documentary by Víctor Casaus, will be presented in Argentina

The book and documentary Que levante la mano la guitarra, by Cuban poet, narrator, journalist and filmmaker Víctor Casaus, will be presented next Tuesday, November first at the Centro Cultural de la Cooperación Floreal Gorini, in Argentina.

Casaus will attend the presentation which will be moderated by Renata Gallo, president of the Espacio de la Fraternidad Argentino Cubana, and by filmmaker Ernesto Fontan.

Que levante la mano la guitarra (1983) is a testimonial book about Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez that led to the documentary of the same name.

Casaus, director of Centro Pablo, is author of the books Girón en la memoria (1971) and Todos los días del mundo (1967), director of the films Pablo (1978) and Bajo presión (1989) and promoter of projects such as A guitarra limpia, Ediciones La memoria and digital art salons.
