The renowned Cuban musician X Alfonso invites this Thursday, December 19th to Inside X Alfonso, a question and answer session open to public exchange at Fábrica de Arte Cubano (FAC), the institution reported.

During the free-admission event, the music video for the single Qué pasa aquí will premiere, a collaborative audiovisual experience for which the creator invited his followers to send him video fragments that he used to create the material.

The meeting will take place at six in the afternoon, during which the photoclip Reflexión will also be inaugurated, accompanied by the screening and discussion of the video for the same song.

To close, X will premiere an acoustic piano version of his most recent single Siento que..., available on all digital platforms and on his website (with free download for residents in Cuba) since December 6th.

With three decades of professional career, X Alfonso has developed a multifaceted career by which he is considered one of the great artistic exponents of contemporary Cuba.

He is a vanguard creator with a unique sound that draws from rock, pop, hip hop scenes, as well as electronic and Afro-Cuban music.

As a soloist he has performed at various international venues and has been part of festival lineups such as Womex, Roskilde and Havana World Music and has collaborated with artists such as Santiago Feliú, Descemer Bueno, Meshell Ndegeocello, Rick Wakeman, Bebe and Audioslave.

His versatility has allowed him to successfully compose music for theater, contemporary dance and film, and obtain a Goya Award for Best Original Music for the soundtrack to the film Habana Blues.

Since 2010 he has led the Fábrica de Arte Cubano project—considered by TIME magazine as one of the 100 best places in the world in 2019—an unprecedented cultural space with transmedia vocation, where emerging young artists (musicians, filmmakers, painters, dancers) converge with others of long career trajectory.
