The group Síntesis, together with X Alfonso and Eme Alfonso will present their latest album 'Ancestral Symphonic' live on June 23 and 24 at the National Theater of Cuba.
The album, released on May 27, 2022 on digital platforms, features ten classic songs from the Síntesis trilogy reinterpreted by X Alfonso.
For the first time the album will be performed live on stage and for this the artists will also have the participation of the Lyceum Orchestra of Havana and the National Choir of Cuba.
As X Alfonso himself has announced, this will be a "unique experience" and those who attend the presentations in the Avellaneda Hall will be able to see a total of 113 Cuban musicians on stage.

Since its release, the album has begun to reap successes, not only in Cuba, but internationally. For example, it was included among the 15 Best Latin Albums of 2022, according to the list from the NPR Music public radio station project in the USA.
Also, the Alfonso family achieved with "Ancestral Symphonic" winning the 2022 Latin Grammy Award in the Best Folkloric Album category, an award that all its members have celebrated on their social networks.
More recently, the Cuban International Cubadisco Fair 2023 awarded its Grand Prize precisely to this album, which also won in the Alternative/Fusion category.
Before its release, X Alfonso stated to the EFE agency that this album "is part of my life and now it is a family union defending their project"; he also assured that although the family has always worked together, this was the first time that all of them participated in a recording.
The album was recorded between Portugal and Havana, mixed and mastered at El Cerrito Records in San Francisco (USA) and had the advice of the prestigious Cuban musician Leo Brouwer and ethnologist Natalia Bolívar.
