May 25, 2019

"Rain and Fire" is Isaac Delgado's most recent album, and it was presented today as a gift to consumers of contemporary Cuban music.

On the album you will find the aroma of feeling, bolero, son and rumba, according to the author's words.

In the Sierra Maestra room of the Habana Libre Hotel, the Chévere de la Salsa mentioned that the new record features the collaboration, among many others, of Alexander Abreu, Samuel Formell, Pedrito Martínez, Alain Pérez, and Gilberto Santa Rosa, with whom he recorded the video clip for the song "El que siempre soñó".

The album stands out for its compositions, mostly by Isaac in co-authorship with Jesús Cruz (Jesusín), who together created the titles "Lluvia y fuego", "Amor legible", "En nuestro amor", "En cada despedida", and "La mujer que yo amo", among others.

The repertoire also includes the songs "Devuélveme el coco" and "Meddley pa' Benny", both dedicated to the Bárbaro del ritmo, according to the performer, who displays a solid career both on and off the Island.

The album's songs were premiered at the presentation, where the press and guests were able to enjoy the excellence of the compositions, arrangements and execution of the orchestra, which constitutes a benchmark of the country's musical work.

Writer Leonardo Padura highlighted in the words accompanying the album that the 11 songs on "Lluvia y fuego" demonstrate the vitality of the springs of Cuban music, as well as the talent, fidelity and good taste of the author.

As a result of the collaboration between Tropix and EGREM, the album is already available in digital stores, and will be presented to the public today, May 25th with a concert at the Centro Cultural El Sauce, in La Habana.
