Leoni Torres Presents "If You Fall in Love with Me" Video Tribute to Polo Montañéz

Cuban singer Leoni Torres premiered last Friday the video for his new song "Si te enamoras de mí", part of his most recent album. Torres' latest production, "Canten", is a tribute to musician Polo Montañéz, and this becomes evident in the single video he released on June 10th.

Dressed all in black and wearing a hat, the Camagüey artist showcases his dancing skills and brings rhythm with this excellent material, which combines a classic style with current trends.

The video tells the story of the protagonist, who reads an old newspaper in a café, when he becomes captivated by the beauty of a young woman, brought to life by model Vale Rivalta, and whom he will pursue while singing the song to her. Just like in its original version, the song maintains its son essence, but there is also an opportunity to incorporate the personal signature of the interpreter of "Loca". "Si te enamoras de mí" works both for romance and for moving to the rhythm and letting loose on the dance floor, a characteristic that has defined Torres' career, and for which he continues to gain admirers all over the world.

On his Instagram account, where he has more than 860 thousand followers, the Cuban shared his excitement about launching his new video, which has also caused a stir among his fans. In less than an hour, the audiovisual gathered more than 2 thousand views, and numerous congratulatory comments for the singer based in Miami.

"Canten" was produced by Leonardo Gil Milián, under the record label Puntilla Récords, and about it Torres commented that "it is a work I always wanted to sing". The album highlights pieces such as "Querido amor", "Dónde estará", and "Mi mejor amiga".
