Yomil Prepares His First Video Following Dany's Death

August 17, 2020

The Cuban reggaeton artist Yomil Hidalgo Puentes shared some images on his social networks of the first music video he will record without the presence of his artistic partner and friend Daniel Muñoz, better known as El Dany.

"Yesterday I was making the first video without the presence of my little brother and it was one of the saddest days because having to deal with you no longer being present in each project breaks my heart," Yomil said in a post on his social networks.

According to the reggaeton artist, the set directed by José Rojas for the music video recording impacted him greatly, since the scene features a cross, with a photograph, a ball, flowers and a plaque dedicated to El Dany, as a tribute.

"José Rojas impacted me even more with this beautiful set he prepared to pay tribute to you, but I had to find strength from where I didn't have any to stand next to this cross in honor of your memory," Yomil said.

"A month ago we were together working and today I don't have you here with me man, this life is very unfair, I miss you so much petardo," he added.

The Cuban singer also asserted that the image shared shows his suffering "because you are no longer here Danilo, it's not easy with what we are going through, I'm still devastated."
