Cuban pianist Marcos Madrigal will hold several performances in Sweden as a guest soloist at the Tommie Haglund International Festival 2022, from April 22 to 28.
His concerts will take place in the cities of Halmstad, Malmö and Falkenberg, confirmed the artist.
Together with the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra, directed by Joaquim Gustaffson, he will perform on two occasions the Concerto number 21 K.467 in C Major by Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Likewise, he noted that he will participate in recitals featuring works by British composer Fredrick Delius, and in the emblematic Sonata number 10 op. 70 by Alexandr Scriabin.
The Tommie Haglund International Festival brings together each year in Swedish cities classical music enthusiasts from various regions of the world and promotes these works among young people through concerts, recitals and master classes.
Marcos Madrigal is a classical pianist who has successfully represented Cuban and Latin American art in European countries, and since 2017 has directed the Habana Clásica International Festival, based in the Cuban capital.
