Cuban baseball players Chapellí and Cousín will play with the "Los Santos" club of Panama

The Camagüey ballplayers Loidel Chapellí Jr. and Yosimar Cousín officially signed their contracts this Wednesday with the "Los Santos" club, belonging to Panama's Professional Baseball League.

The signing took place in the lobby of the Coliseum of the Sports City of Havana in the presence of the head of the Cuban Baseball Federation, Higinio Vélez Carrión.

At the time of writing this information, both players were already traveling to Panamanian soil to join their new team's training in a timely manner, although the league has not yet begun due to the impacts of COVID-19.

On that same team will perform the Cienfuegos native César Prieto, the Spiritan Geysel Cepeda, the Santiago native Yunior Tur, and the Spiritan Luis Dani Morales.
