Cuban singer-songwriter Pablo Milanés will be touring five cities in the United States as part of the concert tour he has planned for that country. Among them, Pembroke Pines, in Florida, will be one of the venues where he will perform.

According to information provided by the musician himself on his social networks, he will be performing in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington. In the case of the concert in Pembroke Pines, it will be on October 21 at the Charles Dodge City Center.

Milanés began his concert tour last month, during which he toured several Spanish cities and will also be performing in Portugal before traveling to the United States.

The interpreter of Yolanda returns to the stage after more than 60 years dedicated entirely to music, and on this occasion, he will be accompanied by the pianist and his musical director, Miguel Núñez, and Cuban cellist Caridad Rosa Varona.

According to a report from Spanish news agency EFE, Milanés is currently preparing an album that will compile songs from his salsa repertoire. Regarding his album and its title, the troubadour explained: "We chose that name because we wanted to baptize this new musical stage with a hopeful reference after so much sadness."

"The name is based on the lyrics of a song I composed a couple of years ago, Día de luz, which speaks about taking refuge in love during moments of uncertainty. A song that I want to release throughout this year," Milanés added.

Regarding his performances, the singer assured that they will be very intimate and will feature a repertoire of classics.

"I will put on stage a piano, a cello, my guitar and my voice, to perform some of the most well-known songs of my career, in combination with others, which are also important to me, musically and thematically speaking," he added.
