The Cuban singer, 87 years old, is known worldwide as "the Diva of Buena vista social club," the celebrated project by filmmaker Wim Wenders.

In her new musical production titled "Omara Siempre" she is accompanied by talents such as Aymé Nuviola, Daymee Arozena, and Isaac Delgado.

"It doesn't mean that's the last thing I'll do. But I feel very satisfied that people accept my way of saying things, of singing and all that," says the Cuban star. "It's a great satisfaction, because I represent the culture of my country."

"Omara is something incomparable. Her feelings, her way of being, her way of interpreting...," comments Alain Pérez, Cuban musician and musical producer of the album.

An exquisite personality for interpreting Cuban son, bolero, or romantic song, demonstrated in her almost thirty albums.

This CD which contains 11 songs, in which Omara moves through different styles, goes through son until reaching more modern sounds, as proof of the talent of a diva who at 87 years old is betting on the new, the fusion between generations.

When presenting the production, the bride of feeling also announced that she will tour Cuba. Although the dates have not been made official, it is known that the first concert will be in front of the house where Omara Portuondo was born in Cayo Hueso, Havana.
